For the Parents.

Why?

I started this studio because I saw what was missing—for my kids, and for myself.

Even though my children were always active in sports, their core strength wasn’t truly where it needed to be. Without that foundation, I noticed how it affected their performance, posture, focus, and even confidence. At the same time, I was facing my own health challenges. After struggling to feel like my best self, I was directed to physical therapy. What I discovered was this therapy was essentially based on Pilates—and it changed everything for me.

Pilates gave me more than just strength. It reconnected me with my body, rebuilt my confidence, and helped me regulate both energy and emotions. As a parent, I realized our youth need that too, regardless of whether they were an athlete or not. I wanted my children—and others—to have a safe, supportive space to develop not only physical strength, but also focus, emotional balance, and resilience.

This studio is designed to be preventative, not reactive. It’s a place where our youth can focus on themselves, strengthen their core, and build skills that will carry into every area of life—academics, sports, social situations, and beyond. My mission is to help them grow into strong, confident, and capable adults who feel grounded in both body and mind.

As a parent, I’ve spent too much time teaching my kids on how to treat others. “Be nice, say sorry, be inclusive….. when in reality, I should’ve focused on having them focused on themselves. I’ve learned that it’s not selfish at age 45 to have that self focus. Imagine if our youth focused on themselves early on. Not only would they become a better self, but it would automatically take care of the “treat others the way you’d want others to treat you” mantra.
